Principal's Message

It is my sincere pleasure and honor to continue serving this community as Principal of Glades Middle School. My goal is to work with our GMS stakeholders to ensure our students receive the exceptional educational experience they deserve. I am looking forward to reconnecting with our existing GMS families and eagerly anticipate meeting the new faces joining us this year. I can't wait to have students back in our classrooms and hallways, filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. Glades is without a doubt, a place where the entire staff prides itself in partnering with parents and students to provide a safe and nurturing environment. We hold the highest standards for all students and work tirelessly to create a positive learning environment where all students can succeed. We strive to help every child feel welcomed and connected while fostering positive relationships that support both academic and social growth. Greetings Cougar Country,

I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as your 7th grade Assistant Principal this school year.

I look forward to working with our returning and new 7th grade students. I pride myself on being a life-long learner and will offer unparalleled service in this role.

I am passionate about meeting the needs of “the whole child,” as my extensive experience in social-emotional learning allows me to help foster strong relationships amongst our teachers, students, and community. I feel that it is my responsibility to create an environment where students feel safe, valued, and respected. My goals are to develop emotionally intelligent students, which will significantly impact their academic progress. I promise to provide innovative and meaningful opportunities for all students to grow and develop.

Through open communication and collaboration, we will work together to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation to help every child be successful.

Educate: Education is the heart of everything we do. At Glades, we pride ourselves in providing high-quality and innovative teaching practices that inspire a love for learning for all students. One of our goals is to empower our students through knowledge and acquisition of life-long skills to reach their full potential and become competent citizens.

Elevate: As we embark on this educational journey together, my goal is to elevate the overall academic and personal growth of each student. By implementing targeted support, embracing new ideas, and continuously improving our practice, we will ensure that every student can thrive and succeed.
